Reisenauer is well known for his exquisite illustrations in Prague’s Respekt  – a Czech political weekly magazine, which covers domestic and foreign issues, focusing on political and economic news. Respekt was launched shortly after the 1989 velvet revolution, and was founded by Samizdat dissidents. Reisenauer has illustrated Respekt since its inception, and his illustrations have become the reason why many people follow the magazine.

The work contains hidden passages of seemingly important histories, and points into dark corners, where lurks the spirit of the mundane.

Reisenauer’s work is produced using a very highly detailed technique, combining digital technologies with traditional draftsmanship. The works are printed using latex inks on vinyl. In the exhibition's newspaper style catalogue you will find a unique interview with the artist – The Anti-Crowd-Pleaser.
