Václav Cílek, Shapes of rocks/ "taiga" lecture

There is perhaps no other rock that can take on so many shapes as the sandstone. Since the times of K. H. Mácha or C. D. Friedrich it is often described, depicted in drawings and photographed. In this lecture we reject the aesthetics and delve instead into the origins and development of the sandstone relief.
